Our favorite after dinner activity when visiting Orange Beach, Alabama is to view the sunsets on the water. This painting shows the reflections of red and yellow sunset colors in the water, with the sea oats and sand dunes in the foreground.
About Jerry Fair
I enjoy painting with a variety of bold colors, values, and textures to attract the viewer and hold their interest. I love the transparency of watercolor, which allows me to create numerous colorful varieties and effects. Primarily I paint on watercolor canvas, which enhances the brightness and color of my paintings. My subjects are landscapes, city scenes, and local attractions which highlight the traditions and relaxed lifestyle of South Alabama where I live, and scenes in Italy, the land of my ancestors. IMy paintings can be seen at the Cathedral Square Gallery in Mobile, Alabama where I am a resident artist and at several other locations in Alabama and Georgia.
