About Jerry Fair

Jerry Fair I enjoy painting with a variety of bold colors, values, and textures to attract the viewer and hold their interest. I love the transparency of watercolor, which allows me to create numerous colorful varieties and effects. Primarily I paint on watercolor canvas, which enhances the brightness and color of my paintings.

My subjects are landscapes, city scenes, and local attractions which highlight the traditional and relaxed lifestyle of South Alabama. Also I paint the natural landscapes of my native Pennsylvania and scenes in Italy, the land of my ancestors.

My paintings can be seen in Mobile, Alabama at the Cathedral Square Gallery, where I am a resident artist and at Southern Art and Framing.
